So last night I through my truck back on the rack now that my 2/4 as settled and it was wayyyy out. I took a picture of when I started but not when i finished but here's what a ended up with
Caster L -5.10 R -4.80
Toe. L 0.05. R 0.03
camber L 0.50. R 0.60
That's the absolute best I could get it after 40 minutes. Truck tracks straight but when I hit bumps on the highway like expansion joints I get like a reverb or bounce in the front end. I have rancho single adjustable shocks turned about half way upand front end is tight. I ordered the adjustable upper ball joints to correct the caster but is there anything I should be doing? 20230427_185300.jpg

If you put in something like a bell tech 2/4. You might want these.

Even with these they indicate caster between 5.5 and 7 in their installation directions.

You only really need to worry about camber and toe.

My caster is 6.2 left and 6.0 right. With an IHC 4 inch drop.

Like it's on rails. Very stable. I spent alot of time with the alignment guy. His comments were you need a little difference between the two caster numbers to account for the crown in the road.

It's really camber and toe that counts for alignment

Wow great write-up thanks! Once I change the uppers I'll use this as my guide. Hopefully I can limit that bounce I get

I was looking at these however both MaxTrac and Summit say they are incompatible with my 2012 Ram Express 1500 2wd. I'm pretty sure Ram used the same arms for quite a few years so not sure why they say incompatible.

I have a set in my garage that I ran for about two weeks due to a self inflicted ball joint issue with my ihc uppers. Bolted up like factory. My truck is a 2014. No issues.

Are these numbers with new control arm? Do you have specs on keeping stock control arms? Did you have to cut your TOE rods?
