So I made the big mistake of not backing up my files before I started to try and turn off the parking warning light out with alpha obd. Now I have only low beams with old headlights and only running lights with new headlights. Now by any chance has anyone have the stock files for a 2016 ram 3500 bighorn with the 6.4l ? I know it's a long shot but worth a shot. Or if anyone has any insight would be great.

Anyone have the stock bcm file they can share? Just so I can go down the list and see what's different?

Not sure if it will help - but here's my 2014 3500 config

Thanks jawzs2.. I have been comparing the files all day. I still haven't come up with anything yet. It's weird my low beams come on when the parking lights should come on and nothing changes when I turn the headlights on. Anyone else have any input? Would there be much of a difference between the stock file of a 2014 and a 2016?

Need more details. What are you calling the "parking warning light"? What are the old headlights and what are the new headlights? Are you sure you just don't have daytime running lights on now?

Sorry I had a few beers when I wrote this last night. I was talking about the parking light out on the dash when I put the signal on. The old lights are just stock quad beam. The new ones are Sequential led. I'm more worried about just getting the stock ones to work again. That is why they are back in the truck. Yes I'm sure it's not just daytime running lights. I have no marker lights or high beams.

Parking light out fault on the dash is an issue with the new light. I've seen similar behavior trying to run switchback LED's in the park/blinker location on the stock quads. No matter what I set it to in Alfa I could not get rid of the fault light on the dash. It would come and go.

Just so I understand, the original lights work (blinkers, park and low beam) except for no high beam now? Did you have to alter or add any wiring for the new lights? Do you have LED's in the original quads?

Maybe check and see if all the "Auto High Beam" settings are disabled/No? Just spit balling here as there isn't too much there to actually "disable" the high beams?

So I'm not worried about the aftermarket lights I just need working headlights. The blinkers don't work or the running lights. When I unlock the truck the only thing that comes on is the right marker light. But when I turn the lights on it doesn't work. When I turn the marker lights on the lowbeams come on and nothing else in the headlights. When I turn the headlights on it stays the same, just the low beams are on. I really screwed this up.

Yeah, you have a mess on your hands.

Anyway you can post a log of your BCM so I can look at it?

Might want to double check the connectors, unplug them and look for a bent pin maybe? Were any changes to the wiring needed for the aftermarket lights, jumpers, resistors, etc, anything like that?

I will look at them... no changes to the wiring or jumpers. I think I just really screwed up with alphaobd. Lesson learned to back it up before I start.

What are you running AlphaOBD on? Sometimes it will save a "BODY_CHRYSLER_Info.log" somewhere in the file structure that will show what was changed. For example, here's what was entered in mine when I installed the SmartBeam rearview mirror

Car configuration change: Auto Highbeam: ' NO ' -> '1 '
Car configuration change: Auto High Beam Module Location: ' NONE ' -> '1 '
Car configuration change: Smart Beam Present (AHBM): ' NO ' -> '1 '
Car configuration change: Auto High Beam: ' NOT ENABLED ' -> '1 '
Car configuration change: Auto High Beam CSM Present: ' NO ' -> '1 '

What should this be on? It's selected as none right now.

Ok.. yeah I'm going through it now thanks

Let me know if you find anything. I really think those faults are the reason you are having issues. Whether that is a wiring issue or maybe a damaged BCM I can't tell? Several of those lines are shorted or open

Well one of the warning lights says left low beam is out and it comes on with the lights.
