Those two were not meant to end just yet. A real testament to the quality of these tow chains.

A trooper found a man and a woman inside the pickup truck that was dangling, nose-down, off the side of the bridge spanning the Malad Gorge.

really quite amazing that the safety chains and their attaching points on both the trailer and the truck were strong enough.

Wow that's lucky! I wonder what the built in safety factor is for the safety chains? Working in construction our rigging has a 5 to 1 safety factor. So the tag on the rigging will say 1000lb limit but from the manufacturer it actually was tested at over 5000lb. Out in the field we arent supposed to go over what the tag on the rigging says.
