After getting & sending back defective black quads from Modifystreet I tried again with "Petgirl" brand because their pics showed a metal adjustment screw in the factory spot and they have a reflector for the turn signal bulb. The lights shipped from Adcarlights.

Loaded them with Xtremevision 6000k HID lows w/HYB 55w CANBUS-safe ballasts
and Fahren 9005 6500k LED highs, reused my 3157s.

Thanks for stepping into my thread and preaching from on high.
I'm sure there are other threads that require your expertise, why don't you take your soapbox over to one of them? I'm sure there's an audience for your level somewhere on the internet, but I'm done with you.

Welcome to my ignore list.
They look great and I'm older than that guy. Just someone grumpy at life and just wants to ***** to everyone about it. It's more important for me too see. I was In BC leaving an an early trip back home and those OEM couldn't pick up the heard of big horns on the high way soon enough. I missed one by literally MM and had to slide/drift into the other lane to avoid them. If there was any traffic coming someone would've been seriously injured and the truck totaled. HID/LED might suck for oncoming traffic if not positioned right but they save lives on highways and secondary roads from wildlife.

I'm all for doing what you want to your rig, but HIDs are designed to be behind a projector and you most certainly will have a lot of light scatter with that set up. This is what "blinds" other drivers and actually causes the usable light to be negatively impacted when installing an HID in a reflector housing, ESPECIALLY in wet or foggy conditions.

If you want nice crisp white/blue lighting, it's almost always better to find an LED that is meant to be ran in a reflector housing. Not only for the other drivers on the road, but for your safety as well.
