What are you guys using to actually mount the amp to the back wall? Screws? If so how do you keep from going all the way through?

Use a step-drill bit to create a hole to allow a proper riv-nut to be installed; prior to installing the rivnut, use touch-up paint to cover and protect the exposed paint left by the drilling. Mount amp(s) to ¼" ABS sheet, drill mounting holes in the ABS aligned with the rivnut(s), and use proper screws to match rivnut(s) to mount the amp "rack" to the rivnut(s) in the rear firewall. That's the clean, easy-to-remove (and remount) amp rack, and allow you to do your amp mount and all wiring into the amp rack before bolting into the truck 100%
Now, you will drill "through" the firewall (safely) BUT the rivnut(s) will be safely "flushed" to the outside of the firewall, and become permanent. It's ideal because now whenever you need to unbolt the entire rack (or single amp, if you choose) you'll just be removing machine screws from a permanent threaded port...with no loss of integrity or damage to the firewall!
