For anyone experiencing a thumping in the cabin. It is your ANC system malfunctioning. You can confirm by rolling your window down. At about half way the thumping will stop. There is actually a point where you can slightly roll it down and up to make the thump come and go.

Bad news, as of 2/23 the amplifier to fix is on national backorder with a message that states “longer than 45 days”.

I would recommend making the earliest service appointment you can and also take in a video of the thump sound. My dealer wasn’t able to confirm on the test drive but I provided a video of the sound and rolling my window up down and they confirmed from the video.

Hope this helps anyone new on here with thumping issues and what to do.

If you can’t stand the thump then there are a few methods to turn off the mics while you wait.

Disconnecting the mics at the amp input.

Or there is a bypass cable someone makes. It’s radio specific. I don’t have a link.
