Android auto help

I just bought a used 2016 ram with uconnect. I setup the account and the rep said I have an update I can do. I followed the download instructions and it is all set up now. But I read and saw on YouTube that Android auto and Pandora come with the update but they are nowhere to be found. The uconnect rep today said that my truck doesn't have them, but I don't believe her. How do I get those apps to show up?

I don't think android auto became avalible until 2018 and i believe its a different radio all together. I know our 17 grand Cherokee never had this but the 18s did.

I have android auto on my phone & it displays on my radio screen......

I know it is supposed to be there, but it didn't show up. I tried to look in the uconnect store, bit that only has a purchase wifi option.

Apple car play and android auto started in 2018 for the rams. anything before that wont have it

You have a Harmon brand radio 13-17 year Ram. Only Panasonic brand radios only Ram 2018 have the AA and CarPlay ability.
