I just bought a 2018 1500 big horn with the 8.4" screen. 2018 was the first year of android auto and it seems to work fine with one exception. I plug my phone in first thing when I get into the car heading to work. When I stop for coffee about 15 minutes later just before getting to work when I restart my truck the FM radio will not come back on. I switch between android auto, USB, and radio and I get nothing. Even if I change the station on the radio it tunes to the new station but no sound. If I unplug my phone it will automatically switch the radio back on. It isn't a huge inconvenience but just annoying. Anyone else run into this issue.

It may be playing a notification but not giving any indication audibly (it would be a bug). You can see this in action because the notification EQ always resets to flat so if you go to the audio equalizer screen while this problem is occurring and the equalizer is completely flat, then unplug your phone and it goes to whatever EQ you have set, you will have identified the problem.

The fix though? Likely more involved...
