Ah ok makes sense then, so do you think it's worth trying that radio or not at all?

Can't answer that for you, it's definitely cheaper, but as I've said I've never heard anything good about any of those Chinese Android units, part of which was customer service (or rather lack thereof) after purchase when it broke. The only one I've found people seem to have anything good to say about is also expensive as **** lol.

I've bought 2 of the chinese units for my Mazda. Didn't have any issues with the first one, just decided to upgrade to the newer model a couple of years later. The second one is still in the car 4-5 years later (my brother has the car now) and still works fine. I got a custom fit one for the Mazda 3, but they make the same kit in a universal.

I got pretty decent customer support from them the one time I needed it.

I'm still on the fence about swapping out the RER in my '09. It works and does most everything I want, but has some quirks, and the updates for the maps are WAY too expensive. But I keep getting promotional emails from Eonon, and I'd probably go with one of their systems just for the price and features.

Wonder if I could fit one of those 10" monsters in.....
