Same as I had and had no problems for the year they were on. That's the reason i am trying to help you and talk you out of going any higher without doing a kit. The angles are terrible. I know and have spent a ton of time in Ohio at the Cleveland clinic so I know you guys can get the snow like us at times and will want your 4x4 even if for nothing else. With the angles of both the tierods and axles at 4 inches the CV'S wont last long and I dont even chance switching it on because of it unless absolutely necessary. These pix are at 4.25 inches and the reason I tell people not to first hand.

Yeah I hear ya. My biggest reason for trying is because the pro kit was newer and noone tried notch 3 yet for the 4.25 lift so on top of making this info available to people here it would have saved me the frame cut on a 2018. Money time and labor down the drain and still putting a lift kit on.

id have to agree, I had almost the same setup with the 3inch spacer and one in the back, with the 3inch body, I decided to bite the bullet and put the 6in suspension in, and OMG amazing I didn't realizes that my truck rode like a brick until I did it, it rides better then stock now and couldn't be more happy with the results, their is more then one way to skin a cat but their is only one real good way, hope that helps

Zone 6” with 5” rear coils. Fox/BDS coil overs up front. No spacers in my lift any more.

Basically the bds lift with the fox package.

Maybe next year I'll swap to the 5 in the back with some coilovers up front. I would just up and do it now but I just put on 35s and they would look to small. Sell and upgrade to 37s later. She might not be the biggest but I think shes pretty hahaha20190522_185917~2.jpg

I’m on 35’s they are small 35’s too
Bonus to the coilovers is they are the same for the 4”and 6” so you can adjust them to where you want them.

When I was up higher it was begging for more tire. My next tire I'm copying @JB1 the tire size he runs I believe is perfect for the 4-6" lifts

So I know this is going to be a stupid question... but what's so bad about those angles? Does anyone have a picture side by side of good vs. Bad angles?

It’s kinda like when your daughters skirts keep getting shorter. You want her to cover up with a long dress and she wants her cheeks hanging out. Where is the ok in between?? No angle is great... as it gets more and more it’s not some magical right and wrong but eventually problems will develop. Lifting without a kit to correct the factory geometry is a play at your own risk kind of game. Like anything else... push it too far and eventually it will bite you. Building motors we always say cheap, fast, reliable... pick two because you can’t have all three. How about cheap, lifted and reliable...same principle.
