Just bought my ram about a month ago. Have been looking to see exactly what she has. Found the build sheet vin decoder and now have some questions I couldn't find answers to through the search, or were not clear to me. Some of my confusion I believe is in Dodges/Rams terminology, where as I believe it calls standard equipment "Heavy Duty". Where someone like me would be lead to believe the HD means its improved over standard "light duty" equipment. As well as oil/transmission coolers which usually only comes on tow packages seem to be standard on rams and again called "heavy duty".
Any input would be helpful.
