Hey guys, thanks for letting me In The group.
I picked up a 2013 Ram 2500 quad cab short bed tradesman. High mileage truck. Pretty great condition for my area. I want to put a leveling kit in of some sort and wanted some opinions...
I want to keep a little rake in it. Right now the rear is @3-3 1/4” higher then the front. I’m thinking 2”. I’m wondering if it will cause any issues with death wobble or other geometry issues? And in your opinion(s) what’s the best bang for the buck that will have the least issues? A friend has a used RC 2.5”kit with spacers, control arms which he says will push the axle forward a bit, and shocks.
I’ve lifted a ton of Jeeps in the past, and know even a little lift can cause big issues at times. Wanna try and not have any if possible. Thanks

There are at least eleventy billion threads on leveling a 2009-2019 ram 1500 on here throughout the years these trucks have been made on this forum.

I can tell you now the answer you will get is to run Bilstein 5100 @ 2.1

Hahaha. Wrong. He’s got a 2500 so prolly not nearly as many threads on the topic. Why do we get so hurt when peeps ask questions. I’ll be honest I think the search function on here sucks balls. Any who. Look at thuren or carli if you want a quality level op. Springs and new front shocks. I’m not a fan of spacer levels but some will run em and love em. All depends on what you want. I believe rough country and pretty much any company will have spacer available.

So a little googling cause I have a 4x4 2500 solid axle. The 2wd looks to have spindles. Same as a 1500 although I’m sure it’s a different design. The death wobble
Comes into play on solid front axles. Causes can vary. Something is worn, loose or bent. Jeeps are let’s be honest wimpy lol. So it don’t take as much to bend or tweak something on them when wheeling. 2500 much heavier duty. Mine don't wobble and I beat it. But back to topic you shouldn’t get any “death wobble” on your 2wd if you level it.

Mainly because some do use the search tool and then we don't have to look through twenty hits all saying the same thing .

Look up thuren or carli level kits. If your going to do it go with one of them they are great have had kits from both. Also get an adjustable track bar while your at it to center the axle back up left to right.

Frankman, I am using Rough Country's 2 inch leveling spacer kit, their adjustable track bar, as the leveling spacers pulled the axle to the left, and their steering box support. I used Thurens caster angle adjustments which also took out maybe half of the spring bow that i got from installing the spacers. have had no issues with about 10,000 miles on this setup. and the ride is just as good as before.

Well señor Douche bag, I did search before posting as you and others dickheadedly pointed out, and I had a specific question about the RC ****. This ain’t my first Rodeo with lifting ****, although it is with a newer 2500 Ram 4x4, and I’m not a retard. I came here because I heard through a few guys this was a good helpful forum.
For those that were decent and helpful, thank you. I ended up buying the complete front suspension from a 2013 power wagon with 5000 miles on it CHEAP. I’ll get my @2” lift.

That’s one way to get the lift lol. You get the radius arms too? Or shocks and springs? And yeah there’s some douche bags on here but the most are stand up dudes:happy107:

I got all 4 arms, (don’t think the radius arms started till ‘14 in the 2500?)trac bar, springs, brand new sway bar links. My bushings were pretty beat in the arms and trac bar so that was a big plus. Oh and I ordered a full set of Bilstein 5100’s with a ss

Ignore @rwhjr he is obviously an idiot, the whole point of forums is to ask questions and get input from those who may know the answer. Good luck with your project and make sure ya post pics so we can see the results!
