Another: What’s This Part?

Hi

I’m still getting used to the layout of my Dodge Ram.

While working on the exhaust I noticed this part. It’s near the driver’s side passenger door.

It doesn’t seem to be connected to anything.

I went through my Chilton’s guide and it’s not listed.

Any idea what it is?

Looks like the vapor canister, pump (right side of the canister in the pic) and filter (hard to see but at the top).

That’s not listed in my Chilton or Hayes manual.

Is that part of the emission system?
