I messed up and left my radiator cap loose.....Ugghhh. How did I do that. WTFO!

Chrysler Material Standard MS.90032. No problem..........
Problem! Not available in any auto parts store. Online, different MS numbers. Ughhh again.

Okay call the dealer, they got it yippeeeeeee. Problem. Not MS.90032. So I asked them what do you put in 2019 Ram 5.7. Not MS.90032 it seems...........Fuughhhhh:boxed:
Stood around the parts department for an hour while they huddled.

Finally a tech came out and said. Number was changed and I should use this #. Did not even bother to take it down. I WANT MS.90032!

Left and called RAM CAressssssssssss. They have no idea, but will research and call me back. At least they got me laughing. Right call me back.

So, I searched the forum and found this from 4 years ago.

"1 Gallon - 68163848AA (concentrate) 68163849AA (50/50); MOPAR® Antifreeze/Coolant 10 Year/150,000 Mile Formula OAT (Organic Additive Technology) or equivalent meeting the requirements of Chrysler Material Standard MS.90032"

Is this still valid? I need a part # to get the dealer to order it or I will find a source on line. Or if anyone has a source I would appreciate it.

Thanks!

MY 2019. Here are the part numbers and info:

69163849AB === 50/50 Mixed Fluid pre mixed..

69163848AB === Full Concentrate, You have to cut by 50%, USE Distilled Water. I bought the full concentrate and split 50/50 in another jug and filled up my overflow. My neighbor has a MY 19 Lonestar so I gave him a Gallon. SO now we both set just in case. CHECK Overflow also once U get all things situated. AD yes those numbers have been changed.

If anyone else runs into this you can also use Prestone universal it is designed to mix to the color you have and is OAT! It works perfect and people get scared as there has been a lot of hype around this.

The proper OAT is stacked up in your Dealerships Parts Department
they have 50/50 mix & non diluted gallon jugs

Mopar does not have sense enough to write OAT Coolant on the jug
they expect everyone to know the damn numbers

Home MOPAR 68163848AB
Coolant Antifreeze, US - Mopar (68163848AB)
2012-2021 Mopar - 68163848ab
Is for the SMALL Engines, FIAT & Promaster, both gas & diesel

................................................................

NOTE: MS.90032 from manual old designation/new is the MS-12106 Embittered .................. can't have doggies & birds sippin' coolant

if u have a Dodge 2014 and newer your looking for ms.90032 which is oat purple. When u look at your coolant inside the reservior the fact it looks slightly red is because it is used. If u took a thin syringe of the liquid and looked at it it would look purple again. Also looking at the outside of the reservoir the liquid seems purple. 68163849AB is the 50/50 mix and the 68163849AA is the concentrate. If your seeing MS 12106, it is the older compliance number. ms.90032 is the newer version. essentially both r the same. So if your topping off I would only use 68163849AB from mopar, or zerex g30 if i couldnt get it. If you are flushing your system you can technically use ANY coolant but even with a decent flush you will have some left over coolant in the radiator. But as long as the new stuff is oat the color doesn't really matter. But just because I would still go with mopar ms.90032 or zerex g30. And then write With permanent marker on your reservior what coolant you went with for your future self or future owners/mechanics.
