So varam pros and cons? I like the look but does it really get cold air? I dont see how any air flow can pass between the radiator and the hood

$1700 cat back and had to reuse the stock tips. I would get one of the 3 Borla no drone cat backs systems. Intake looks really cool, but for $900...have to think long and hard.

The intake can be had for around $700, but if there’s no ECU flash to go with it, what’s the benefit of this over the Vararam since they are a similar design / form factor? I agree the Mopar part is better looking since it looks factory, but are we staring at our trucks with the hoods open or are we driving them?

You can get the catback from your parts department for $1100. They wanted $1700 for mine and I explained I could get it online for $1100, so they did.

I used an AFE Magnum Force Stage 2 in my 4th Gen Ram, but since it was totaled in a collision and few weeks ago and recently buying a 5th Gen Big Horn, I plan on going this route.

On my 4th Gen paired with a throttle body spacer, there was instant response and no hesitation.

Airaid has replacement filters too. Most of us are hoping for some advertised power improvements from a CAI.

I read ALOT alot of people also cannot get the vararam to seal properly at the base. There's a long post on this about dirt getting past the base clamp seal deal . Thats a big no for me
