Anyone else brick their Ram trying to load a tune?

After getting my Magnaflow 18" installed yesterday I came home and my Diablesport tuner was here. Following the instructions I updated the software, updated the PCM, created a backup of the PCM, then attempted to load a tune. 99% completed and it gets an error and trys to revert back to original and gets stuck in a loop. Now the truck won't start. Emailed tech support last night (they were already closed) and they had me send them some files. I've been told now they are working on it. Just curious if anyone else had this happen and what was the outcome?

It can and does happen unfortunately. Most times it can be fixed going through the route you're on, sometimes it requires a PCM flash; it depends on the error.

Apparently there is an issue affecting some '13-'15 Chryslers, finally got the truck running again after Garrett at Diablo helped me out tremendously. Only took all day to get it resolved lol. I think I'll wait until Monday to try loading any tunes.

Good to hear your back on track. Did they say what the "issue" was?

I bricked my 300 SRT8 loading a custom tune.

They walked me through a reboot and got me running.

Diablo customer service is great... they helped me with mine over the phone and got it all set up and loading right...

Mine bricked, there's an issue with 2005 TCM tune that puts the Diablo through an endless loop.

Just had this issue today with my 13 ram filled er up with premium and wanted to load a premium tune somehow lost connection in the process device rebooted and loop bricked customer service had me plug it in for update and they tried to load a recovery tune into it nothing pcm is currently enroute to holly to fix fingers crossed even asked them if they could just load the tune i wanted with specific parameters adjusted so its ready to go when it returns fingers crossed will update when pcm returns

Shipped my pcm out overnight wednesday and holly / diablosport had it back to me saturday truck runs again only on stock tune but customer service was fast polite and helpful hopefully i dont have any issues when i re tune it

This is exactly why I spend the extra 100 bucks on a junkyard ECU

It never got bricked bit IF it were to, I would have had a back up stocker u could swap in in 90 seconds flat

Happened to mine back in september had to ship the pcm to holly/diablosport to reflash factory backup pulled out pcm and shipped out wednesday and had it back and installed saturday

Also a side note if you do have to remove ship out and reinstall your pcm dont expect to jump in and drive right away first start it will run like hot garbage as its relearning let it run for 10–15 min and relearn values then take it on a drive so it can relearn the rest
