When the movie "50 Shades of Grey" came out I thought it was about the exterior plastic trim on my truck...
Anyways... I think I finally have a solution: Forever Black Bumper Trim Kit Fender Flare Dye | eBay
OR
http://www.amazon.com/Forever-Black-Bumper-Trim-Dye/dp/B000FOIJXQ
I just finished applying it to the bed rail caps and it got dark, so I'll update with more pics tomorrow.
A few days ago, I cleaned the caps with professional strength Goo-Gone hoping that maybe that would take off layers of detail spray, wax and Mother's Back to Black and reveal black plastic, but it didn't...
Btw, Mother's Back to Black did work at first, but down the road it actually made it more grey. I am not saying anything bad about Mother's, just my experience. Keep in mind my truck sits in the sun for hours almost every single day.
I washed and waxed my truck and then applied the Forever Black plastic dye. It went on really easy and looks really good so far.
