Have a couple of vehicles sitting this winter and don't want to buy the wrong battery charger. I have a fully automatic one from Sears, but just want a trickle charge then a maintainer. I am strongly leaning toward this one:

I love my Noco Genius chargers, they have a 1, 2, 5, 10 amp
I have the 1A and 10A versions, both work great. One nice feature is the option to have the battery leads hardwired and just be able to plug the charger into that harness. There are other optional harnesses available that quick plug onto the charger included an extension.

I have the 750 Mil Amp NOCO as well as a couple of 2 AMP ones. They have lasted over 8 years now with regular use. They recondition and maintain the batteries well, my summer car is parked all winter in a heated garage but left on its own the battery does run down due to all the electronics. They work great on the riding mower, quad etc and the quick disconnect that is permanently wired to the battery makes putting them on and off very easy.

I do unplug them at full charge and re-plug them ever 2 or 3 weeks, I don't leave them powered on full time.

Most of them work pretty well, and vary in price. The one thing you want to make sure that when sensing full charge, it says it shuts down. Just having a constant trickle charger that does not sense charge and stays in trickle mode, well that bad, how they used to be made. This is what I have hanging in the garage. My MC has a perm pigtail wired in that I just plug up to for MC, and I use alligator clips for mower and breakaway battery on stock trailer. Would work just as well on a truck/car also.

I have had a Battery Tender 1.25 Amp (I think) for many years now. No issues with it all all.

Battery Tender has nice leads than can be permanently attached to the battery and run out the grill so you don't even have to lift the hood to plug it in.

I originally bought it for my Quad that I have since sold but I use it on my truck and trailer batteries to keep them topped up when either sit for a while.

I use 3-4 on a regular basis. over the years I’ve had one battery tender brand fail. But I’ve used them more than other brands. Last year I got an Amazon basics just because it was cheap, and it’s been fine to date.

I tend to buy name brands like Noco that I can trust. They can all mess up, but the danger of fire is very real so a battery tender is something I am quite careful with. It is also why I don't leave even name brand ones plugged in permanently.

I had one off brand tender severely overheat a battery a few years ago, only caught it because I could smell it. If I had been away that could have been a major loss as the garage is attached to the house.

Pretty sure that;s what my Son ha on his 2017 Hyundai and 2002 Dakota. We Hard wired them and it's quick & easy to park one and drive the other away.
Think he had to buy accessory parts to make it work though, The kit did not come for it to be set up that way.

No issues, in 5 years. Not like the Technology used is that demanding or new.

I don't use one for my truck but I keep my Harley on a tender for the winter. It's a Schumacher brand from walmart I picked up for like $20. 8 years ago. Still works great

Have both Battery Tender and Noco, though I'm slowly replacing Battery Tender with Noco last several years on things I leave plugged in to charge. More features I think on Noco and now Genius edition will start charge on a nearly dead battery (1volt) so if not damaged brings it back up. Just had a Battery Tender trickle charger die last week in fact....but was at least 10 years old so no complaints. Light was an orange color vs. red or green like normal. Went to a unplug it and it was hot as ever, so much so I had to set it down. Again at least 10 years old so got my use out of it.

I have 2 Schumacher chargers, one of them is 2, 6, 12 Amp
I also have a Schumacher jump box

I think that i am going to buy a NOCO trickle charger, something that might bring my Harley battery back to life
It was new & i used for a couple of weeks & then i just tossed a dust cover over over it & of course, the battery will be dead.

I just have to figure out which NOCO will work best

I have been using Battery Tender brand for over 20 years on several batteries with no issues. I do have one Schumacher that I use on a tractor battery. That one has a small fan in it, and does a good job as well. If one does a "dump", I will give the Noco brand a look, but no complaints with Battery Tender.

I haven't seen this one mentioned. Mine is AGM specific but has worked flawlessly on all my AGM batteries for years. I use it periodically on the New AGM I installed in the RAM. Particularly if the truck is not used for a period of time.
