Anyone tried the ball joint delete option?

Stumbled across this option on Youtube and hadn't seen it before. I haven't checked mine yet but the steering has been a little wonky and the steering column insert bearing option only made a slight improvement. I've got 85k on it and have been running wide 35's since it had 5k on it. Not much offroad use but our roads give the suspension plenty to complain about.

I don't know much about this stuff but it seems to be a better design unless I'm missing something. Pricey for sure though.

I think there are better options in heavy duty aftermarket ball joints.

I am skeptical of products using this marketing misnomer. It’s like installing 35” tires and calling it a “tire delete”.

Thuren sells EMF, Carli sells their own with a lifetime warranty. I’ll be buying one of those when the time comes.

I was considering Dynatrac serviceable ball joints, but started doing some research and there’s quite a few reviews talking about how they didn’t last any longer than stock before they had to be replaced. Do you have any experience with their products? Seems looe good **** so i was surprised about the poor reviews

I’m still very interested in Dynatrac, free spin kits to tho

I've had them on my Power Wagon since 2016/100k+ miles.I grease them once or twice per year and they're still tight.You can buy a rebuild kit for them if it's ever needed.
I also installed the Dynatrac no-spin with Dynaloc hubs at the same time.
The claims of 3 mpg better mileage are BS.I gained about half a mile per gallon,but I haven't had to replace any axle or drive shaft u-joints since the install.

13+ HD trucks already have axle disconnect (CAD) so there is no mpg to be gained by installing locking hubs.

I ran a 2004 3500 with the 5.9 diesel and had to replace ball joints every 60000 miles. The prevailing theory was the the weight of the Cummins caused the wear on the ball joints. I was wondering if the reviews you read were for both the Cummins and 6.4 hemi, or mostly the Cummins.

What about the wheel bearings in that kit. How often do you clean and grease ? From what I understand they have servicable wheel bearings too and I thought they were timken’s..?

I check them once per year
I used a high quality synthetic grease(Redline I think)
I believe they are timken
As long as you set the preload correctly and use a high quality grease,they should last for years
