I had been using Cooper's up until a few years ago. Got a set where 2 out of 4 simply would not balance with a reasonable amount of weight. One tire needed 9.75 oz and the other needed 8 oz. Even with that amount of weight and clocking them per the Hnuter machine, flipping them over, etc the road force was still like 60 Lbs. Returned them for a set of Michelins and the worst needed a couple ounces and road force was around 13 - 18 Lbs.

Bird man, my job was to remove the studs when the tires were almost done so my father could drive till the end of summer.
I did that for this summer. Figured might as well since all the jobsites I was on had good roads for a change.Now I have new ones studded and mounted.
