I too like a mat shine on my tires. Found a new "to us" product. Griot"s Garage black satin tire coating. Spays on walk away. Last about 1 month on our vehicles. Also had a member recommend Superior Products rubber dressing excellent 'no silicone"

QUOTE="JB1, post: 1762858, member: 2552"]You can put this on your dash, door panels, exterior trim, tires or anywhere. Check the reviews it’s awesome. Do a search though because you may can find it cheaper or locally.

The wipes work great for interior.

Funny, clicked on different sizes offered. You can get 2 oz for $7. or a quart spray bottle for $8.
PS: Do you get the clear 32 oz bottle or the dark blue 16 oz? Can't figure out whats different except blue is more than double the price.[

I buy exactly what’s in those links, white bottle with spray. Some stores carry this so your local auto parts store may have it cheaper

This is what I was able to find in stock locally so I thought I would try it. I sprayed it on and wiped it down after about 10 minutes. Seems dry to the touch after being parked overnight. I thought I would have to go back today and use some low air pressure to blow excess out of those grooves across the sidewall but it looked good without doing that.

One question: I slid the floor jack under the front and raised it up about 1/4" off the ground so I could rotate the wheel to apply the S/W treatment and polish the wheel. Of course, when I tried that in the rear I could not turn the wheel. Any way to do that short of going behind the dash and pulling the rip cord?20180724_145813_001.jpg

Not really enough room in my shop right now without opening the door. I went out there after dark and stayed late. Didn't want the place full of bugs after having just spent all afternoon on wash and wax. It just seems like it should be possible to jack a corner up and turn the wheel. Too old school I guess.

If you can raise both rear wheels off at the same time they should rotate if the trucks out of gear.
