Does this make any noise going down the highway?

No noise at all, I put some stainless ty-wrap where the cable can vibrate. There is no sound coming from the cable

Lol as someone who has cut lots of cats of scrap cars, this wouldn't slow me down for even one second.

Definitely interesting and I could see it being a deterrent. However a battery powered angle grinder with a cut off wheel would slice through that cable like butter and you would only need to cut a few strands......though if you just had a sawzall it can be a pain because the cable moves around on you and can get jammed up in the blade.

If you take them off , what about the computer? it would not be happy.
My truck sits in the garage mainly, but I have thought a motion sensor under there that triggers the remote start would be interesting, or a alarm system.
A truck/ cars that is bagged could be a interesting project.
The cats roaming at night could be a problem.
