At idle, what is the gas consumption per/hour for the 5.7L Hemi?

Thanks TurkeyBird! I looked into the smaller, low-cost gennies too, and saw that, as you say, they are all 2-strokes, which I hate (hate mixing, hate smoke, and hate the weight (about 38LBS for a little 1200 Watter)! The best little 4-stroke genny, in my view -- which is only about 28LBS -- is this model: HEOMAITO at $299...

I don't know if this is important to you, but you might consider the noise of the engine. My son has a generator that we use for hunting and it causes me to take a room at the local motel because the impulse noise prevents me from sleeping.

We travel with a WEN 2500 watt dual fuel generator/inverter to top up our RV batteries when the solar can't keep up and we're off shore power. I only run it on propane either off the RV's tank or a spare tank we carry. We're in the Sierras and live at 5k ft and I've ran it as high as 8k ft without any problems with the stock jets. They do offer a high-altitude jet kit but I haven't installed it yet. We had a power outage a few months ago due to a wildfire. I ran the generator 12 hrs straight, started with a full 5 gal propane tank and it felt like about a gallon left at the end of the 12 hours. It's very quiet and we're very happy with it.
