Just Finished my Audio Build since I got the final piece (subwoofer) for Christmas. Here it is:

Head Unit: Kenwood BT952
Doors: Sound Ordnance 6.5 inch components (front and back)
Amp: mb quart fx1.400: 400 watts RMS
Sub: mb quart rlp254: 10 inch
Box: Custom .4 cubic ft console box...cut 1.5 inches of foam out of the seat but you can still use it if necessary!

Highly recommend everything that I installed...I couldn't be happier with the sound quality and am especially happy with sub/amp/box combo.

I had MB Quarts in one of my trucks years ago. Nice speakers!

Well done!

I didn't but I can take a picture of my plans for you. I had to cut 1.5 inches of foam out of the top of the seat to start with and then I just mocked it off of the steel support that is in the seat and added an extra 2 inches to the top so my middle seat is about a half inch higher...also testing out photo bucket on this post to get better pictures in the future.

I'll get the plans up for you soon though because it did turn out nice, sounds great and was pretty easy!

For everyone who wanted some more information on the build here is a copy of my plans as well as the picture I took of the foam and where I cut it. When you cut the foam use an electric carving knife if you have one, if not a big bread knife will work but it is a lot harder to get straight lines.

I hope this is pretty clear but if you have any more questions let me know. This can easily be knocked out in a day and installed the next day when silicone is dry...and stuff the hell out of this thing with polyfil for sound quality. buy it at your local craft store for $5/bag.
