Burning trans fluid 25 years or so ago wasnt really a bad idea, before all of these new propriatory chemicals have gone into play, because the base oil was whale oil and didnt need most of the chemicals now that has to be used. It used to burn fairly clean ...unquote.
What....your time must fly on the stuff you are taking.
Whale oil has not been used in the US since the 1920s and then only for specialized applications like pharmaceuticals.

Other than sand, tranny fluid might be the last thing I'd put in the tank. I worked with bearing engineers in the past, and none of them liked designing/applying bearings that would be lubricated by tranny fluid. It decreased life because it is not that great of a lubricant.
There are much better additives if you insist on using one.
