Aux button on 2017 3500

So my dad just traded in his 2007 F350 on a 2017 Ram 3500 6.4 Hemi. Yeah! Anyways, he has a bank of Aux switches, 1 through 5. Switch 1 and 2 both light up little LEDs when pressed, 3-5 do nothing.

Any way to tell what these switches actually do? I looked in the radio and couldn't find any references to Aux switches anywhere in the settings.

They aren't hooked up to anything by default. Look under the hood, driver's side towards the fire wall. You'll see to 4 slot connectors one dark Grey and one light Grey. The switches control them. If he bought it used he probably won't have the wiring pig tails for them. A dealer can order them if he plans on using them. You can program the switches through the evic (cluster) under commercial settings I believe. You can program them to be either to be "always on" no key needed, acc powered on and momentary if you wanted a air horn or something similar.

With mine I have one running lights on my headache rack, one running led cubes behind the grill, and one running some cheap rock lights attached to the hood as hood lights

Check the rear floor bins i bought mine used and the harness was in the passenger side rear bin
