Hey I'm looking into putting some aux switches in my truck and I've seen some people use the mopar kit made for the 2500s. From what I can tell since my truck is a 1500 is that it will work, just have to wire up those switches my
Self and they say to get the exact one with the switches I already have in my big horn.

So this is the exact one I need but have seen a few different model numbers so not totally positive which one it is. Could you clarify and tell me price? Also what would be the options for that setup with a switch in the middle of the top row as well

I created a cheat sheet here for the switches. Tow/Haul is standard on Automatics so it's not a variable. The part # switch you would need is 68241386AA

As far as it working on a 1500 you will need to custom wire it in. There is no underhood wiring that connects to the switches and no kit to add this. Furthermore last time I checked the connector for the back of the switch was discontinued however there may be another number that other members have been able to utilize. Hopefully someone can chime in on whats required to make this work as a whole.

Mine is a 17. Thanks for the part number, I might have to take mine apart and see the connector. I'm assuming it's the same connector as all trucks and just those pins are empty. I purchased the rough country version of an spod that I can run the wires to under the hood

Yes connector should be the same and the terminals are most likely missing for the AUX circuits.

its only the 5 blanks in the bottom so you would lose your heated seats and heated steering wheel buttons but you also have those in the head unit so no issues getting rid of them

You can do as bigred74 mentioned or add another option such as ventilated front seats and utilize that button. Let me know what you were thinking and I will provide the part number to use.
