axel identification

ok here goes unfortunately i need to swap out my frame on a 2003 2500 with the 5.9 cummins
found a 2006 2500 with 5.7 i can get it with or with out the rears just wondering how to identify both mine and the rears on the 5.7 and if they will work with my 5.9, figuring it will be easier with rolling chassis.
can i do it off the code sheet? if so what codes do i look for i know i have mine not sure the other guy has his though as he is parting out the truck is there another way of identifying the axels

IF you can get the 2 Rams VIN,

You can get the Rear differential ratio

Thanks GT i have seen that just dont know how to figure that out if it is just a number in the vin or you have to input them into a program

GT thanks i input my vin and now know i have 11.50 rear axel and
a 5200# front axel and ratio is 3.73 that should be both axels if Im
not mistaken
