Hi all, I’m replacing my front end linkage and trying to make sure front tires are pointing straight to attach tie rod. I centered front angle by measuring from frame to center of upper ball joint on both sides, so it pretty centered. Then i wanted tires pointing straight in order to attach tie rod. But when i ran a lazer from a point on back tire(dually), using same point on left and right, that indicated my front axle was not in alignment with back axle. I then measured back axle from common point on both side in back to frame and it appears back axle is not centered on frame. It is factory as far as i know. Do they set it at factory a little off center?
Any thought?? I’m puzzled
