After trading in my 2016 Ram 1500 Sport for a 2024 Mazda CX-5 back in 2023 I can happily say I am back in new 2026 Ram 1500 Sport.

My 2016 was the most reliable vehicle I ever owned and while I no longer had a need for a truck/towing and the Mazda was by no means a bad vehicle it just didn't feel right and I have missed owning a truck since. Found a 2026 on the lot that had just arrived optioned pretty well exactly how I wanted it (minus having a sunroof which I hate) so I pulled the trigger. Was hesitant at first going with the 3.0L hurricane but after a few test drives and giving it an honest unbiased try I really do enjoy it.

Did some back and forth negotiating with the salesman and I had them eat 100% of the $1395 admin fee, $450 out of the $699 dealer prep fee, and give me $40k trade in on my fully paid off 2024 CX-5 so all in after taxes I paid $59,231CAD on a $89,360CAD Total Price window sticker. Looking forward to ownership on this 2026 and first thing on the list is undercoating it with Fluid Film or Woolwax if I can find any Woolwax in Canada and buying some Mopar all weather mats.

Congratulations on the new Ram. I test drove the Hurricane in a Big Horn model and it was fast, smooth and quiet. Good luck with it and enjoy!
