Hey man what did you use to cut the plexiglass glass? Also what 4 slots are you talking about?

You can use a sharp utility knife to score it and then snap it. I used the utility knife to get top and bottom cuts. Just scored and snapped off both. Then went to the angles with an oscillating saw. Used an orbital sander to frost the back and also to sand the edges to trim a little at a time to get the plexi to fit into the chrome head.
The slots are on the back of the chrome head used to help hold the original black plastic in place. You need to trim those off to get the plexi in place. Then automotive double sided adhesive tape holds the plexi to the head.

One strip in each RAM horn in a V pattern going down to the "mouth". The chrome ram is hollow so there is room behind it. I had a pic of it but I can't find it right now.

Loved the write-up on this mod so much I did mine! However, the four 3mm amber LED's I got from lighthouseleds.com weren't as bright as advertised/I thought they'd be.....
Seriously thinking about getting another grill emblem and redo the mod with brighter LED's...after some researching other LED options...20190223_201520.jpg 20190223_201551.jpg taken at work parking lot....

Looking at my post from last Saturday...the pics I took with my K30 smartphone makes my grill emblem look brighter than it is seeing it with your eye.
Still researching LED options as well as another emblem.

So, i am curious if anyone has done this with the RAM for the grill/tailgate, while keeping the chrome letters? I know harmon customs makes replacements for the front, but they don't for the rear. And they are not available in a chrome finish, i am thinking of doing it myself, but am curious if anyone else already has?
