Just noticed lately I'm getting a very bad smell in the cab. Smells like rotten milk, dirty gym locker room. But I notice the smell as well coming from front grill. Could I have bad fluids? Only got like 11,900km on the metre. I looked in engine Bay and don't see a dead animal.

Unfortunately you're not alone. I bet you get it in the cab when your stopped eh?

Next time your truck is warm, pop your hood and smell your upper rad hose n see if thats the smell. Look around first to make sure no one sees u doing this.

Its apparently a reaction with our coolant to the rubber in the hoses... mine does it too. I'm waiting for a TSB on it.

I've never heard of that (that's why I like to read posts so I can learn). My guess would have been a rodent that climbed up into a small hole the engine compartment and passed.

That's exactly what it smells like. I fixed a lot of trucks with this problem. All the hoses need to be replaced

It sounds like there is a fix for this particular issue. When I was detailing we would spray a foam up the AC drain pipe in some cars to get the dirty sock smell out of the vents. But it sounds like this might be something else. If it is coming through the AC, it is because the air is condensed but not all of it drains, thus puddling in the condenser causing mold. Seams like Chevy's and Toyotas where/are notorious for this, not so much Rams though. Still possible though.

The 300's have this issue. This is the first of hearing about bad odors in the ram though. I have a 14 and no issues so far.

Totally different. He said it is coming from the front of the truck. You don't smell a musty evaporator outside the car.
