New to the forum but really need some help. So our work truck is a 2012 ram 2500 4wd with sold axles. We decided to replace both the upper and lower ball joints because they were shot. We'll getting them out has been a real PIA...I had to use a 3ft breaker bar and 4 ft pipe just to press them out!!!! So I got one side almost done(lower is almost all the way in finally!) but my co-worker has never worked on trucks before and decided to torch the lower and hit it with a dry wall hammer without letting me know...(pics below). Like I said I had to use a long breaker but I got mine out with ease once I had the leverage. Now I have to do the other side and idk how on earth I can get this out now! I'm thinking heat the yoke with an oxy torch and use my air hammer to try and punch it out?? I tried pressing it with the breaker to not avail because it looks to be mushroomed. Luckily this is a work truck that never goes above 30mph or leave the airport grounds but still the yoke is dented up nicely....
