Ram Buds,

Looking to do the next upgrade to my 2500. I really like the Banks but wondering which provides better performance Banks or S&B? Also truck is completely stock would I need a tune to install intake or only when I delete it? Thanks in advance for your input.

I have had s&b on my last two trucks. and have nothing bad to say about them only good. I think banks is over priced and just over rated.

Avatar Engine says 5.7 Hemi. Banks doesn't make kits for gas Ram's.

See if you can get flow restriction reduction data from both manufacturers. I think both of them publish.

ive got an sb filter. love how it sounds. did get 1mpg increase. and ive got a 2018 power wagon on 20" wheels with 37" milestar M/T.that 1mpg helped until i put the front and rear bumpers on. but i think the front bumper is causing a lot of air drag compared to stock so

Suh, adding a lil more air into system not gonna give U ne seat of pants ne thing. Most advertise 10 hp gain, kinda doubtful. U might get that Kool sound unda the hood when under WOT, maybe engine run a bit better. But U looking for HP Bump: New Cams, intake, exhaust, tune, etc is where U gonna have to go. Maybe the new RAM TRX be kool, though who can afford it? LOL.

i have a 16 with the 6.4, any noticable gains in mpg or seat of the pants dyno?

seat of the pants dyno definitely. Maybe 0.5-1.0 mpg, but I added Diablosport Edge Pulsar Tuner & Moe's throttle body at the same time. I run the Pulsar in Eco mode when not towing.
