Battery Blanket ?

back in 2009, the Dodge Ram HEMI, had a real nice Battery cover/blanket

it is so much better than the 1950s type oil filter looking thing

That cover was used up until at least 2013. Mine 2013 6 speed has it.

One of my coworkers has a 2014 8 speed, and has the cover that looks like pressed fiber insulation.

My 2014 has a cover like your 2013

I have a 2022 eco diesel. The mousies started on my battery cover shortly after I bought it. Sprinkled a palm full of cayenne pepper on it. Problem solved.

I was told that down here in South Florida it would be better without a blanket. Is that wrong?

I started using Peppermint oil spray to help keep critters away !

I would get the ones with the heat shield type skin if I lived in Florida.

Yes, from what I have read, the 5th gen has a similar battery tray to the 4th gen.

Remove the plastic block, and an H8 battery drops in.
You will require a new battery insulator cover.

Check with Benny @AllMoparParts.com for a replacement cover 5033397AE.

I bought the mopar cover for my new h8 sized battery. I wrapped aluminum heat shield protector around it.

Heat kills batteries fast,and shiny aluminium shielding reflects heat
