Yes, our batteries are lead/acid. The Noco GB50 is awesome, I have one. I mainly keep it on my bass boat in case I run my starting battery too low, but I've jumped a few cars and trucks with it. I charge it once or twice a year.

I picked up a Noco GBX55 on a lighting deal through Amazon for $130. Although I bought a dedicated USB-C 63watt charger for it which was another $20.
I have several Noco battery chargers and am happy with all of them.

I wonder why they won’t do the AGM Batteries some people like to buy when theirs c?raps out?
seems strange they say that when my cheap ancient one does deep cell, AGM and standard, 6 or 12v
Or will it do the job anyway? Anyone know?
BUT it is stated that they work only with "Lead-Acid Batteries".

I have the GB70 and have used it a few times to jump start the AGM battery in my truck, never noticed any issues with it,but maybe i've been lucky, lol

FYI: an AGM and Gel Cell batteries are a lead acid battery just constructed differently than the flooded-cell type batteries found under the hood of the Hemi/Pentastar trucks.
AGM and Gel-Cell batteries do have different voltage requirements while recharging but that goes out the window when jump starting.

i've got the clore automotive jnc660 and jnc770c. i've had them for about 3-4 years now, use them every once in awhile, charge them quarterly to keep them up. they have yet to let me down. i know the battery can be replaced in them if i'm not mistaken, i havent had to yet though.

The alternator doesn't changes for an AGM battery,so i can't see where there would be any issues using it on an AGM battery. It's never gave me any static using it on the group 35 AGM that's in the box of my truck.Dragstrip toy,the battery has been relocated to the back passenger corner of the box for traction, lol
