Battery light on

Hello I am new to the site. thank you very much for accepting me. I have a weird thing with my dosge ram 1500 from 2016. at the first start in the morning. the battery light comes on and stays on. I have to turn off the ignition and restart for it to turn off. after no more problems for the day. I checked everything. at the level of the alternator battery and electric leak. there is no abnormality. do you have an idea of the problem? put a lot. see you soon.

If your battery is original it is probably on its way out. The OEM battery in my 2017 lasted just over 2 years.

Unless you Load Tested the battery you won't have the whole picture but with a multi meter you can see if your battery is looks OK at a glance.

A resting fully charged battery should read 12.6 to 12.8 volts or so.

Edit: It could even be dead now as I see you posted this Jan 20th. Hopefully you got it figured out.
