My GOD that is beautiful country! Can’t wait to retire and go someplace like that permanently(of course Canada is a little too far away). It was 90 here yesterday. 90 in March is beyond ridiculous. I bet it’s still nice and cool there.

Car was reading 55F for the majority of the trip,we don't get all that many 90 above days even in the summer, maybe a dozen give or take a few.But during June and July it'll be broad daylight till 10:30 pm,and if you go a little farther north even later. Back when i was kid and Drive-ins were still common place,it wasn't uncommon for them to have to start the first show at 11:00 before it would be dark enough to actually see the picture on the screen. It never really gets black dark here in June and July, but on the flipside it's black dark about 4:30 pm in December and January, lol. In the summer it's beautiful country up here,as i'm only about an hour west to the mountains ,turn around and it's flat prairie to the east, where you can watch your dog run away for 3 days, lol

LOL unless it's tires for traction or to save weight,i don't usually add anything to the exterior that'll attract a cops attention. It's bad enough when i have to add numbers to the windows for drag racing either it or my truck. Her and i both drive like we're still teenagers so i try to keep the exterior a bit subtle, lol. Her racing numbers are still on it in this pic, lol. It's a legit 1320 Challenger, they're whats called a Baby Demon,as they have the same basic chassis as the Demon has, just with-out the 840 horse Demon engine. She races it every chance she can,and she's a hell'va bracket racer,as she has a womans killer reflexes, lol

The church is southwest of Edmonton by about 2 hours. It's about an hour northwest of Calgary. These pics taken today were west and southwest of Olds Alberta, closer to central Alberta, about an hour east of the Rocky Mountains.

I looked up the right church

The map that i viewed showed Edmonton, i got the compass direction wrong :)

I had not noticed that Calgary was also close by

A few years ago, Caterpillar Equipment Co was sending several pieces of Heavy Equipment up to Edmonton.
I got to to Escort a couple of semi trucks that were hauling some of that equipment, i only went as far as the Oregon State Line

The equipment was similar to this
I see the M.A.P. sticker on the side
