Bed Caps.

Sooo I did a little search on the ol' search bar and came back with nothing. I had a cap on my ranger with solid sides and over Christmas realized how much I miss it. Right now I have a tonnue cover that does flip up at all, so anything taller then the bed rails I have to undo the tonnue. Which during these winter months re locking down the leather is next to impossible. So I wanted to see other peoples caps what they think maybe how much they run. I remember like 8 years ago one for my ranger was around 900 bucks.

What kind of cap are you talking about? Sounds like you are talking about a cap that sit in the bed, but can't be any taller than the rails? Doesn't make sense to me. Have any pics? A cap I'm thinking of sits on top of the rails.

I was talking about a fiberglass cap. THe kind that sit on the bed rails are as tall as the cab and have a flip open glass on the rear.

Down here we call them Toppers. Dave (Ramhunter9) has one on his mega cab. Rubberfrog had one on his quad cab.

I was actually saying how now with a tonnue cover anything taller then the bed rails is a pain to load...due to the fact you have to unload the tonnue

Yeah and if you throw on color matching, you could get into well over $2,000
