So I went to my local junk yard and found a dash that wasn’t blown into a million pieces but upon removal it broke in two just to the right of the gauge cluster.
I was originally thinking gluing it back together and laying it with fiberglass or carbon fiber to help support it and keep it from cracking again but I then remembered seeing adds for the “hot staples” for putting plastic together and thought maybe that’ll hold it together a little better than glue or epoxy and then someone mentioned using rubberized bed liner to coat the whole thing rather than messing with fiberglass or carbon fiber.
Anyone have any input, thoughts, or opinions on the whole bed liner thing?? I feel like it’ll won’t be as brittle. What does everyone think??
