Has anyone installed the BedRug systems with the new bed lights?

Do you have to cut the holes in the BedRug or disconnect the lights? I’m just wondering how they interfere with the install.

I wondered the same thing until I saw they had a one piece floor & tailgate unit. I ordered that one and never looked back. But, I've since installed swing cases and they impede the bed lighting. I'm planning to run some aftermarket LEDs under the rails using the same power source as the factory lights.

I didn’t know they had that. Interesting. I would hate to pay $400 for this system only To compromise the integrity by a cut and allow water/debris to build up under the mat.

I wouldn't run it without some type of tonneau anyway. It is marine grade carpet, but it really is too nice to run in the open unless you want to constantly clean it. Either one you go with, it's not going to keep your bed dry, it just doesn't soak up water like normal carpet does.

I've had the full bedrug on two other trucks. They are great, but for my needs, the bottom and tailgate more than do the trick.

I️ have a bedrug and made cuts to expose the lights. They are near the top so I️ cannot fathom any water or debris inside. Then again, I️ do have a revolver x2 tonneau cover.

when I installed my bedrug I took the lights off, then made just three slices with a razor blade (2 for the clips and 1 for the wires)

Thanks for the reply, this sounds good. I thought it was to thick or something to cut with a razor blade.
