So, the passenger side rubber trim piece fell off my truck all by itself apparently. Do these serve any purpose of should I just remove the other side as well???!

My expectation is that those serve a small aerodynamic purpose both MPG and wind noise similar to skirts between a cab and semi-trailer. Probably no value in removing the opposite one. Dealer will be able to get you a replacement if you want to have both sides match.

one of mine mysteriously vanished too. Doesn’t look like it can fall off so since a replacement costs about $40-$50 I’m guessing mine was stolen by someone who needed one.

They never came on my 2500 but they were on my 1500. Not really sure why they weren’t on the 2500. I could only guess it’s an mpg thing since the 2500’s don’t get rated for fuel economy. I never noticed a difference with sound.

Are these vertical or horizontal? I have the one that is horizontal between the cab and bed. Nick

Hi, can you confirm that it goes the length of the bed from drivers to passengers side? I've been getting leaves collecting in that space because of the side rubber blocks on the right and left side of the bed behind the driver or passenger doors. It would make sense if there was another piece that went across the top of the bed between the cab and the bed.

Thank you!
