Anyone had issues after installing 2/4 kit? My front tires rub when turning full lock right and left. Not every time, but 7/10. Usually at low speeds. Sport wheels 275/55r20. No rubs before front part of kit was installed, reputable shop did it, but curious if anyone’s had these issues.
Truck is ‘13 RCSB 2WD Express.

My 2012 ST has the same drop with 22"s. Cut out the portion of the fender liner where it was rubbing.

I’m probably going to cut the springs soon, wondering if I’m better off taking liner out completely since I’m rubbing now.

Taking out the liner completely will void all protection. I almost thought about taking them out completely until that came to mind. I have a sliver cut out on the front of mine where it was rubbing. Not my favorite, but hey, it's lowered and you cant see it!!!

I’ve never understood why some guys with the exact same trucks put on the exact same lowering kit and one gets terrible rubbing and another gets none. Same with the death wobble.
It’s making me think twice about lowering mine more
That’s why I started the thread, I’d not seen anyone with rubbing issues up front. Mine only does it at full turn at low speeds. Soon as I can justify that $700 for control arms I’ll be going lower.

also, whats BS on wheels. I did a 2/4, and did 305s. One way, is clean fenderwheels, drive it, try to get it to rub. The go home, get a heat gun, warm the plastic up and use like a 2x4 or something hard to push warm rubber back. As it cools, will, retain the spot.
Another spot it may rub, if the lower portion right behind the wheel

Makes me not feel so bad, I haven’t seen many people complaining about rubbing with 2/4. I’m 275/55/20.

Like I mentioned in my other post. Something ain't right. My truck will bounce heavily on the freeway with bumps. With the qa1 set to max it only helped a bit but not enough.

Now that I'm thinking about it. My bumpstops are about 1/4 from the arm. I wonder if i hit a big dip and my arm comprises the bumpstop if that creates a spring type energy to force my rebound to cause a bounce.

that does sound like an issues, mine rides almost same a stock. No real bouncing and I only bottomed out once , it was harsh. Did you install yourself or have a shop do it?
