Truck moans at me when I press the brakes, even when already stopped. This means brake booster yeah? I only had this one for 4 months! Whats the best place to source new brake boosters that will last a while?

I doubt your moan is coming from the booster. Most times the noise is from the disc pads moaning at a stop. And the truck is moving ever so slightly at a stop, and the pads are rubbing against the rotor causing the moan.
If you want a better power brake set up. Swap from Vacuum boost power brakes to Hydroboost. Which are powered from the power steering pump. Do a Google search and some reading. Its an easy conversion, I have done all the Jeep CJ's I have owned.

moaning when already stopped rules out contaminated drum brake shoes.

is it possible to have someone press the brakes while you listen under the hood to figure out where the noise is coming from?

a bad booster would likely give you a stiff pedal feel and weak stopping power. the stock brakes are pretty decent in these trucks for unladen power.

Apply a little pressure to the brake pedal while starting the engine, as it starts you will feel the pedal drop a 1/2 inch or so or less.

The pedal drop indicates a properly working booster.
Here's a link to a write up of how to check a vacuum booster. It also explains the hydroboost system.
Might at least get you started.
