Best highway or all season tires

I dropped my Nexan OEM tires yesterday at 1,129 miles and went with the Michelin Defenders two weeks ago. I always dump the stock tires for Michelin Defender LTX M/S whenever I get a new truck. I get a superior ride, wet traction performance and longevity from them.

I’ve been waiting for a sale and got a deal two weeks ago at Discount Tire - $842 installed with tax and all. Then I get a $41.50 rebate from Discount Tire making them $800.50. I used Costco’s price and Discount Tire matched them. Best tires ever as I've ran Michelin's on all my Rams going back to 1992.

I’m running Cooper Discoverer HTPs on my Jeep GC. This is the 2nd set and got over 60k on the first set. They still had decent tread left but with winter coming on I decided to replace anyway. Last summer I put a set of Cooper Discoverer ATPs on my Ram 2500. So far so good. Very little road noise, the truck handles great, and the traction is excellent. I’ve also had really good luck with Hankooks.

I have to start hanging with you guys that get the tire deals. After several visits to tire dealers today the best out the door price I could get on Michelin Defenders was $1,139.00.
Best on the Continental Terrain Contact HT was $1,045.00

2013 Sport with Continental Terrain Contact AT. Great tire, just a bit louder than stock SRA excellent traction. No difference in mileage noticed.
