Last summer I needed some front end work done on my 07 bighorn QC 5.7L 4x4. I figured while it was in the shop I would have them throw in a RC 2.5" leveling strut pair. What a nightmare! After installing one strut and trying to reattach the upper ball joint, it was obvious this kit was going to wreck the new ball joints...... I called RC and the rep told me no one had ever had any issues after installing the struts...I call BS. I ended up having the shop install OEM struts and living with my nose down truck. My question is, does any company make a true 2.5" front leveling kit that doesn't change the geometry of the alignment to the point of ruining ball joints and wearing out tires?
Btw after I researched the reviews on that RC kit, I found numerous complaints of upper ball joints separating, extreme tire wear, and drivability issues...... I should have looked harder at reviews before buying the RC kit in the first place, live and learn.
The kit was the extended strut not the spring spacer, which I assumed was the better option....
