Let me see some pictures, might have to add some to my truck. Not a huge running boards fan thinking about the retractable amp steps

If you're thinking about heading off road, this kind isn't a bad idea (when installed properly) - haven't done rock sliders on my Ram yet though.

These. If Mopar had these available for 4th Gen 1500s Id be all over it. Best non retractable look I’ve seen on a Ram. This pic is on a new 2500 from the auto show.

Im kinda in the same boat, they would be nice to have, but not a fan of the look of running boards in general. I don’t want them bad enough to pay for AMPs

Im looking for some low profile ones. Go Rhino has some nice Raptor style boards, but the mounting brackets hang down pretty low.

Hopefully someone posts a pic of some Im unaware of.

I've never been a fan of the looks of running boards, but love the utility. AMP power steps solves that nicely. The tread is nice and wide and only deploys when you open a door.

If youre spending money in this Amp thing might as well get the real deal. White Knucle rock sliders will add characther to the truck and you can rest the full weigth of the truck on them so you wont have to worry about destroying your invesment the first time you rub them against any obstacle.

I think the best looking running boards are the kind you don't see until needed. That's why I went with the Amps. I also got them to help prolong wear on my leather seat cushions getting in and out of my truck after I leveled it with the Bilsteins set at 2.1".

I’m very happy with my AMP steps. After having these for 2-1/2 years now without any issues I can’t imagine ever going back to fixed steps
