I am sure there has been similar questions asked before and I hate to be "that guy". But I searched the forum and there was so many threads about the bilsteins and so many of those threads that got side tracked from the original questions at hand that I never got exactly the answers I was looking for. So I decided to make a thread.
2011 ram 1500 sport,hemi,4x4,quad cab.
After debating over bilstein 5100's and the rancho quick lifts for about a week or more I finally decided to go with the 5100's.
Suspension is factory with about 54,000 miles on the clock.
ride height is about 36 1/2" on the front and 39 3/8" at the rear. Measuring from ground to bottom lip of fender opening.
Is this about the same ride height as most other rams of my year/body style/trim package ..etc...etc..?.
And what setting would you suggest the bils be set at to achieve a level stance (or still a slight front end rake)?. I would assume that setting to 2.8" (max) would get me pretty close to level. But I have heard so many different opinions on riding rough at max setting and 4x4 vibrations etc..etc.. that I don't know what to believe.
I want it as level as possible, but without any vibration issues.
If anyone with experience with these struts and anyone with opinions on it would chime in I would appreciate it.
Thanks
