The black tips from MBRP with the rolled edge is a nice tip and the price is affordable starting at $69.99 from AmericanTrucks.com

Or you could paint them yourself. Several people on here have done it.

I just took a set of a customers chrome tips, sanded them down and plasti-dipped them black and they turned out pretty nice. There are several way to get black tips if you dont want to spend the money on a new set.

I want to get the larger 5" exit like Carven has. Somebody has to make them. Factory rear exhaust is 2.5 or 2.75 pipe??

They don't have anything with the correct length and by the time a muffler shop cuts and welds your in for the same price as the bolt on Carven.

After extensive searching and comparing I found that MBRP was the best for build quality and price. I went with the 8" and it looks very good. Pick up a can of Black Silicone high heat spray from Advance Auto for under $10.00. Before you put on the tip raise the truck to "off road" get under the back, use a wire brush and clean off the silver pipe. Then use a rag with plenty of rubbing alcohol to clean off the dirt from the metal. Then spray all the "silver" to black it out. It looks awesome from the back and wheel well side when all is sprayed black. Especially if you have black bumpers. It pops!

Plastidip holds up on the tailpipes and you don’t have to remove/overspray rubs off. Tried the gold accents one winter.
