JB1,
Yours seem to be not as tall as the tyger ones and are not notched out at the headlight.

I tried looking for those cannot find them i even search for RAM 2500 flare, no luck.

if you have time can you take measurement how far they stick out and also how tall they are?

the tyger ones are 5" tall and stick out 2.6" in front and 2" in rear...

Also!!! I look on mopar parts site and that part number does not even look like the same flare.... ughhh
The headlight notch is only on 2500 & 3500 flares. JB1 has a 1500. The flares are NOT the same. Be careful about that.

Tire size has always been the determining factor for me if the flares look good more so than color. Tires need to be pretty damn big ( not counting wheel spacers) to justify a flare so the flares don't make the truck look too big for the tires again . From what I see not many agree with me.

Totally agree

Gary2, I agree with you. I thought by putting the Tyger flares on that only stick out 2 inches, it wouldn't be too bad. It's the 5 inches of black all the way around the wheelwell that makes the tire seem like it's sitting in a big, black hole. Even though I wasn't going to increase tire size but maybe one size up, I now think that won't be enough. I was ignoring it until you brought it up Mr. Gary2. Thanks a lot. Now, I HAVE TO buy new rims and tires! Oh well, I'm not commuting any more and when I get to TN next month I'll be expected to bump it up to 37's. Those will work out nicely and justify the 5.13's I want to put in the rears. It's only money (and hearin' a lot of bichin'). LOL Thanks again Gar.

he has a sport so they'll work for him, he has 1500 flares now but most sport/express owners run the HD flares
Oh, didn't know that. Thx.

Very little available RAM MEMORY left in my brain. Gotta delete some directories & files to make room for new info.

Thats not correct. I bought a set of 1500 flares for my 15 and they were notched for the headlight. It all depends on which type of flare you get

OK but we were specifically talking about the Tyger flares. They have one p/n for 1500's and another p/n for 2500/3500 trucks. I'm sure there are many others out there that are different.

Makes me wonder how well a more aggressive black flare would look when I go wider... I’ve got black bumpers, and will have black emblems and black housing headlights, eventually:

JB1, so these should work on my express....?

View attachment 143607

When I made that statement I was referring to the OEM flares. The only differences between the 2500/3500/rebel and 1500 flares is how far they curve forward towards the metal bumper. With the sport/express plastic bumper it doesn’t matter so some members use a 2500/3500/Rebel flare since it looks better not curving so far forward.

For these aftermarket flares, since they list a separate P/N it may be for a reason.

this is the closest match to JB1's that I can find. Caled the company and they said sticks out 2" past factory fender and is NOT notched out at headlight.
I just ordered them i'll let y'all know how i make out...

Thanks for the writeup JB...
The ones you bought are $433 cheapest I can find these are $112... we will see how nice they are...

The flares that i put on my 1500 are for a 2500. I like the shorter look on them over the 1500 ones

My preference for Sport models is flares that completely cover the front fenderwells.View attachment 147066
That pic is misleading, those EGR flares for the sport do not come all the way down. I remember emailing them as well confirming whether or not they didcf12bd7b85c99b8c0e085e1e9f5efaf5.jpg
